About Us
Deerwood Lodge was originally built as a bed and breakfast and event center to serve visitors and residents of Beaver Island. Meg and Vince Ebersoldt, longtime visitors to the island, purchased Deerwood in October 2016. After years of dormancy, the Ebersoldts are happy to share the lodge once again with people who want the best the island has to offer.

In addition to all the island has to offer, the lodge provides a private and spacious place for you and your entire family to enjoy. Enjoy the two tier deck overlooking Lake Michigan and it's spectacular sunsets. Soak in the hot tub or your own private whirlpool bath. Rainy day? No problem! Find a quite corner to read a good book. Gather your family to play games, do puzzles, or watch movies. Or, simply stare out the window and feel the peace of the day. And, if cooking is your thing, spend your time whipping up delicious meals in the gourmet kitchen.
